Our passion is to help you and your dog experience a powerful and fulfilling relationship. 

 

Experienced. Certified.  You really can get quality, affordable training for you and your dog! Our instructor, Jana, is a certified Canine Training and Behavior Specialist, and has worked with thousands of dogs and owners successfully.

She believes everyone should experience a relationship with their dog in a way which allows our dog(s) to be included in our everyday lives.  Over the years her approach has evolved from an obedience-based to relationship-based foundation.   She has worked with everything from puppy development, general manners & guest etiquette, loose leash walking, and severe aggression issues.

 

Jana has a strong interest in dog behavior and communicating with dogs in a way that makes sense to them.  She learns from each and every dog (and dog & human team) and looks forward to continuing this learning journey.  

 

The following training services are offered to help you reach your goals:

 

Behavior Consultations:   We offer free on-site (our facility) behavior consultations.  Throughout the consultation you will discuss your goals and/or concerns and Jana will offer suggestions and options to help you reach your goals. We recommend you check out the About Us page as well as our Facebook page to get a feel for who we are.   She is also available to travel to you-- a travel fee of $1/mile (one way) would apply.   Please contact Jana to set an appointment or for more information.  For those that are unable to travel to us, we offer an online consult.

Private Lessons:   These one-on-one sessions are a great opportunity to focus on your goals with your dogs in a customized private lesson. Though these sessions are titled private lessons, we often joke that they are not covert operations. The whole family, as well as anyone who may be interacting with the dog is welcome to participate and if you are in a family with multiple dogs, all the dogs in the family are welcome to participate as well. We feel it is important to have everyone on the same page working with the dog, understanding how to live with the dog, and having an awareness of how their interactions with the dog can set the dog up for future success or failure. While young children are allowed to come and participate, it is often recommended that the parents do the training and help support the dog and child’s interactions at home, of course while under supervision. In these sessions, the focus will be on building on your relationship as well as the goals the handlers have with the dog(s).  Private lessons are also available online.

Classes/Workshops: We offer several classes and workshops at our location or yours.  Please  Contact Us if you would like more info on hosting.

Online Course: Unable to attend a class in person?  Learn at your own pace and at your convenience by enrolling in an online course.  

​

 Jump Start:  This program is designed to provide you with a better understanding into your dog's behavior and training.  Dogs are left with Jana for one day and may be exposed to things such as loose leash walking, manners, spatial pressure, and socialization.  A go-home lesson and follow up private lesson are included.  Also a great option if you plan to enroll your dog in a group class or private lessons.  In-Kennel-Training (Limited Availability):  Because your involvement is crucial in the success of any program, we have greatly reduced the number of dogs we accept into this program.  When possible, it is preferable to work with you and your dog to establish a relationship that dissolves unwanted behaviors.
